Zaid Ali Kahn is the head of Infrastructure Engineering at LinkedIn. His teams are responsible for architecture, engineering and operations for Networks, Data Centers, compute and storage serving over 500M members.
Prior to LinkedIn, Zaid held several senior technical positions in Silicon Valley; including Senior Network Architect at WebEx where he was responsible for designing one of the world’s first SaaS networks. Zaid is also the co-founder and former chairman of San Francisco’s Bay Area chapter of Internet Society. Currently he is an advisory board member at Deutscher Commercial Internet Exchange (DE-CIX).
