PCI Express: Enabling Performance in HPC
PCI Express® (PCIe®) architecture has enabled storage and data centers to transition to high speed, low latency power efficient performance over the past few years. However, the demand for additional performance in power constrained devices and data-hungry server, client, embedded, IoT and mobile market segments is growing. To meet the need of these data demanding markets, PCI-SIG® continues its nearly three decade history of delivering performance doubling with the development of the PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 specifications. In this sessions, attendees will: • Gain insight into the first FYI testing for PCIe 4.0 specification and product rollout • Receive a firsthand look at the PCIe 5.0 spec delivering 32 GT/s targeted for completion in Q1 2019 • Understand PCIe low power capabilities and options • Review case studies where PCIe is being deployed in OCP use cases

Open Domain-Specific Architecture (ODSA) Sub-project Launch
Today there are many companies affected by, and affecting SoCs and domain-specific accelerators, such as co-processors for networking, security, storage, machine learning and inferencing.

This workgroup will define an architecture that enables the mixing and matching of available silicon die from different suppliers onto a single SoC for data center applications. The goal is to define a process to integrate best-of-breed chiplets onto an SoC.

How Effective was OCP Adoption in Yahoo! Japan Infrastructure as Non-Board Member of OCP
Yahoo! JAPAN is the Top-Level Japan's Contents Service Provider. And we have adopted OCP solutions at our infrastructure in Japan's DC since 2016. This session provide "Actually, How effective by adopting OCP as Non-Board Member of OCP". Especially, I'd like you to refer to session for People who are considering OCP which includes like Non-Board Member of OCP, as same infrastructure scale as Yahoo! Japan. This session will include below topics - CAPEX/OPEX figures from Yahoo! Japan Case - In Japan, Datacenter standard for OCP / Power standard for OCP - In our datacenter, how to delivery and install of OCP - operation cost comparison between EIA19 and OCP from actual data I'd like to emphasize that OCP is one of the effective solution for Non-Board Member and U.S. Datacenter.
