Barefoot Tofino and the P4 programming language are changing the way network fabrics are built. Current switch hardware based on Tofino have hit the upper bound in regards to running intensive pipelines and are missing certain important components. Hence STORDIS has launched spine and core versatile network switches offering a unique combination of powerful, high quality components and a chip set programmable with P4.
The switches deliver an advanced high-level performance providing a multitude of possibilities, such as in-band network telemetry and intelligent network packet brokers. It is the first Barefoot Tofino chipset supporting the PTP time sync feature and the only Tofino based switch providing 1Gb support to connect existing legacy equipment with future hardware.
STORDIS is a proud OCP Platinum Member and looking forward to share relevant knowledge with the community, to inspire and to support everyone to benefit from the achievements of the Open Networking Revolution.
Working in the IT industry for more than 10 years, STORDIS experienced the evolution of open networking and learned how to handle the increasing demand for capable, flexible and efficient information technology. Harsha Vardhan, Network Systems Engineer of STORDIS, will provide a more in-depth insight into the architecture of STORDIS Advance Programmable Switches and their efficient deployment in productive network environments.
