As connected intelligence evolves at an astonishing rate, the data centers processing, moving, storing and securing all this data are also morphing in many ways. Data centers can no longer take a “one size fits all” approach to their architecture and technologies. As compute moves to the edge, data centers must address composability and workload-specific requirements, among others. This presentation will look at the innovative architectures to bring efficiencies and scale to meet these requirements and future-proof the infrastructure. The session will discuss how advanced storage, networking and compute silicon building blocks are optimizing the modern data center, highlighting specific use cases that evaluate considerations such as capacity, latency, performance, power and cost, and the value propositions for the OCP community.
