LinkedIn is using SONiC as the network operating system to implement OpenFabric control plane and the vision of self-healing networks. In addition, LinkedIn is working with the SONiC community to define standardized API, to run some of the same infrastructure software and tools used on application servers including Kafka, telemetry, and software development toolkits.
