OCP Use Case: Using a Software Defined Storage on OCP Lightning (NVMe JBOF)

Software Defined Storages is more flexible and scalable compared with Storage Appliances, because it can run on commodity hardware. OCP Lightning (NVMe JBOF) is suitable for these applications. Yahoo Japan is starting to use Quobyte that is software storage as backend of OpenStack Cinder, Manila, Kubernetes Persistent Volumes. In this talk, we will describe about our experiences of using a Software Defined Storage on OCP Lightning.
