In this session, I will introduce the Transponder Abstraction Interface (TAI, https://github.com/Telecominfraproject/oopt-tai). TAI defines the API to provide a vendor-independent way of controlling transponders from various vendors. It is heavily inspired by OCP SAI. Together with SAI, TAI can enable open transport ecosystem.
I'm the OCP Networking Project Co-Lead and an Engineer at Cumulus Networks. I'm interested in pretty much anything related to networking, and especially open networking. Or, the San Jose Sharks.
