Project Olympus systems are based on modular and independent solutions tied into a cloud-scale management utilizing 19" EIA Racks. Open Rack systems have a large following in OCP, but do not yet have the flexibility that Microsoft needs in it's systems. Today we'll present efforts by Microsoft and other OCP companies to converge the two concepts into a new platform that bridges to create the best of two worlds.
